Built in 1994 by members of Descendents, ALL, and Black Flag, the Blasting Room is a 4,000 square foot complete professional recording facility featuring two studios. Studio A is equipped with the only SSL console in the area, a new 2.93GHz 12-Core Intel Xeon “Westmere” Mac Pro with Pro Tools HD 9 AC3, and two inch analog tape. Studio B is equipped with API and Chandler pre-amps and ProTools HD 8 AC2. We recently added a Mixing / Editing suite featuring a Pro Tools HD 8 AC5 system and a wide variety of plug-ins. All of our studios feature an extensive array of microphones and outboard gear. We also now offer in-house short run CD duplication. The facility offers amenities including a lounge with couches, HDTV, PS3, VCR, DVD, a stereo, and a full kitchen. Office facilities are vailable with phones, fax, and high-speed wireless internet access. We also offer secure storage in our alarm monitored building.
